This project touches on the design and simulation of electrical characteristics of capacitive sensors used in the current touch screen technology, especially on the capacitive touch screen technology. Design on capacitive touch screen sensors is conducted in this project. The design also touches on the dimensions which includes the work on the cell size, conducting materials and also substrate materials used for the electrodes. The factors affecting the optical and electrical characteristics of the electrodes will be discussed in the later chapters.
