Fluid flow in micro channels is gaining importance during the past few decades due to the emergence of microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) which has developed several microfluidic devices. The no-slip boundary condition in micro channels is found to be invalid under several types of boundary conditions. During the course of the project, researches were done extensively on the slip models developed by researchers, the experimental and analytical studies of fluid flow in micro channels and the parameters that will affect slip.
