Following the promising results of perovskite NCs due to its strong stability, quantum yield and luminescence, perovskite materials have attracted the attention of many optoelectronic researchers with aims to tap on the extrinsic properties of these nanosized semiconductors. Perovskite has progressed so rapidly in such a short frame of time that they have already caught up with other photovoltaic devices which have been around since the 20th century. Here in this report, I have investigated the properties and characteristics of these NCs from their atomic level and what enables them to exhibit such favourable optical behaviours.
