The aim of this research was to come up with a three-dimensional personalized face mask that is literally for use in medical facilities by patients. This was therefore achieved through scanning the face of the person whose mask is being prepared, and the resulting image sent in for exploration. To complete the analysis, a combination of data parameterization and contact pressure estimation using a finite element analysis method was utilized. This method was used to provide a precise and time-saving working of the face-mask touching base pressure. The whole process contributes to a superb design of a personalized face mask, which must have a satisfactory fit and be comfortable for its users in order to ensure the users' health, safety, and s...
