In today’s rapidly growing, technologically advanced world, a need for better energy solutions are being called for as we grow more dependent on energy. One such solution is piezoelectricity, which is the generation of electrical energy by means of a mechanical load, along with its wide and varied applications opened a whole new possibility in modern engineering. Piezoelectric transformers provide one such possibility. Various parameters such as efficiency and transform ratio of a piezoelectric transformer are computed against different factors to find the optimal operating range.
