Abstract Traditional AC to DC converters converts AC source voltage to DC output voltage with poor power factor and efficiency. AC to DC converters can be found in most industries for supplying power to an electric load and the importance of having a high input power factor and efficiency has become more and more essential. Therefore, this project was created and the main objective is to design a new AC to DC converter which can effectively increase power factor and efficiency.
