Despite of the advancement in bio imaging, pathological image analysis is still the final say for cancer diagnosis and prognosis. In image analysis, it extracts characteristics or features from the image through the mean of image processing techniques. In this report, Gabor filtering based feature extraction for pathological image analysis will be discussed. Any improvements on the efficiency, results quality of the prototype were continuously explored during the project period.
