In recent years, various studies have been conducted to develop biobots, primarily for the deployment of search and rescue missions. Biobots are insect-computer hybrid robots where electrodes are implanted in a living insect and a microcontroller is mounted on it. The motion of the insect can be controlled through electrical stimulation and the stimulation effectiveness can be heavily influenced by the implantation of the electrode. This study aims to compare the effectiveness of surface electrode and inserted electrode used for electrical stimulation of cyborg cockroach.Bachelor of Engineering (Aerospace Engineering
