Roundabouts is a vital component of traffic management. At these intersections, poor traffic management leading to congestions worsens the quality of the road transport network. As technology and connectivity continue to progress, new automotive technology can help to improve traffic management and road networks. Connected and Autonomous Vehicles (CAVs) has the potential to minimise time lost and reduce disruptions on the road by improving the gap acceptance process.
