This project is to create the 3D visualization of the Singapore City Hall MRT station, and research on optimization in the 3D visualization process. With existing technologies, a bal- ance between quality and speed for any visualization process should be examined care- fully by conducting optimization experiments. Experiments in this project were carried out in these four stages: modeling, material and texture setup, lighting and rendering, anima- tion. In each stage, different visualization technologies and methods were examined, and the most effective and efficient combinations were chosen as the optimal approach for this project.
