Researches on the visible light indoor positioning are mainly driven by two reasons, one is the gap of indoor positioning, another is the rising of Light Fidelity (Li-Fi) techniques. For outdoor positioning, Global Positioning System (GPS) are widely implemented on vehicles and mobiles. The performance of the GPS is in meter level on outdoor applications. While in indoor scenarios, GPS signals suffer severe attenuation and the accuracy drops to tens of meters.
