The design and implementation of a 3D wedding planning application

Weddings are one of the most important and exciting life events, but wedding planning could be a stressful and tiring experience for newly-engaged couples. Professional wedding planners will probably have everything nicely planned out, but many couples nowadays choose to DIY (Do-It-Yourself) so that they can have full control over every aspect from start to finish, or just to save cost. While there are plenty of decisions to be made – venue and guest list, flowers and cake, music, photography and many more – an application that keeps everything organized and constantly updated would make the process much easier. The aim of this project is to design and develop a wedding planning application that is close to real-life planning as much as possible. The web application displays a 3D environment of the wedding venue, which allows the user to take a virtual tour and rehearse the event flow. The user will be able to interact with objects in the scene to check the relevant planning progress.
