Cobalt-chromium-molybdenum (CoCrMo) alloys have excellent corrosion resistance, biocompatibility and strength. As such, they have been widely used in dental applications, such as removable partial dentures, metal frames, customized abutments, crowns and bridges in the anterior and posterior regions.
