Kinect Image and Depth Sensor has been widely used by researchers and students as image sensing and acquisition device. Although Kinect was initially designed solely for gaming purposes, it has shown great potential to developers and researchers of possible application beyond its intended purpose. Although Kinect has been on the market for nearly 2 years and numerous development and research have been done on it, it is still relatively new to an under-graduate such as myself.
