Thus, many efforts have been put through to improve our conventional Air-conditioning and Mechanical Ventilation (ACMV) Systems to be more energy efficient and environmentally friendly. In the recent years, developments on Active Air Terminals (AAT) have advanced the use of innovative designs, such as Passive and Active Thermosiphon Beams (PTB/ATB), which are far superior over old ACMV systems.
