Leg pronation have always been an important factor when it comes to choosing the correct pair of sports shoes. Many times people have overlooked the importance of the issue of pronation. In this report, we will discuss on the basic biomechanics of foot pronation, the different type of pronation and the effects of foot pronation. Next, the types of running styles will be discussed briefly and how pronation is factor affecting the different running styles. Next we will discuss about the myths and methods that are used commonly in sports shops for selecting sports shoes. In this sections, the reliability and doubts of these methods will be analysed.
