Abstract Mixer is an essential part of wireless communication systems. Modern wireless communication systems demand stringent dyanmaric range requirement. The dynamic range of a receiver is often limited by the first downconversion mixer. Much work has also gone into developing highly integrated receivers in CMOS that minimize the number of off-chip components. In this project, Image reject downconverter design involves the design and implementation of current driven passive mixer and complex filter. The designs are implemented with 1.8V power supply using CSM CMOS 0.18um process.
