Recycling in Singapore.

In the context of consumption saturated societies, recycling is gradually seen as a sustainable solution to this social phenomenon. Geographically determined with limited land area, Singapore is vulnerable to possible environmental hazards, one of which is exceed municipal waste. Positioned itself as a regional economic hub, waste overspill has been taken seriously be the local government as a high risk environmental threat. Despite ardent recycling effects through the National Recycling Program, amount of general waste continue to rise annual.
