Beyond Utilitarianism and Deontology. A Contribution to the Discussion of Christian Corona Ethics Utilitarianism and deontology have a decisive influence on the Corona ethical recommendations issued by associations and commissions. In the present article, a Christian perspective for a corona ethics is brought into the discussion. The triage- and lockdown- dilemmas are discussed as examples. The first task is to weigh the utilitarian and deontological arguments presented in the most authoritative recommendations and to identify possible inconsistencies or ambiguities.
