Self-compacting concrete (SCC) is a new technology of concrete, requiring no consolidation work at site and it can pass through closely spaced reinforcing bars and restricted sections without loss of homogeneity. SCC makes pouring concrete easier and solves construction issues, while lightweight concrete (LWC) is a great way to reduce the dead load on the structure. Combining the benefits of LWC with SCC is a new field of study.
