Hillslope deposits in Western Europe show stratification resulting from sedimentary processes (superposition of rill, mud flow or lobes) and mechanical deformations (frost creep stretching and tangential difference in dynamic within the deposit). Particles translocation in slope are complex, lateral and strongly influenced by the thermal gradient during thaw and the physico-chemical conditions of colloid dispersion. This translocation favours the frost creep dynamic and emphasise the bedding.
