The Importation of Raw Materials - The importation of raw materials in 1980 represented a third of the overall figure for French imports and the foreign deficit created was 7,5 % of the gross domestic commercial product. The analysis of this foreign dependence leads, firstly, to an examination of the structure of the supplying of raw materials and its trends, and, next, to a study of the nature of international markets and of suppliers.
