Relations inter-ethniques et changements socio-économiques dans l'agglomération de Nyéméniki-Seguekho-Touba Diakha

Summary. A sociological study of a polyethnical group of seven villages including two villages of the Malinké (Sibiktling and Nyéméniki), one of the Bassari (Seguekho), three of the Fulani (Soumaniko, Darsalam, Seguekho) and one of Diakhanké (Touba Diakha), and cultivating a two hundred square kilometers isolated area, seventy-five kilometers North-West of Kedougou. Culture contacts als the economic, social, religious and psychological levels, and more particulary from the point of view of farming. Quantitative and qualitative evolution of the networks of relations between the animistic matrilineal Bassari, the islamised pastoral and patrilineal Fulani, the half-islamised agricultural and patrilineal Malinké, and the islamised Diakhanke who share their language with the Malinké.
