Abstract This study aimed to analyze the increase of science literacy attitude of students through the implementation of Problem Based Learning (PBL) model. This study was a quasi experiment with non-equivalent pretest and posttest control group design. The sample of this study was 50 students of grade 7 in one of state junior high schools in North Lampung City during the academic year of 2014/2015. The sample was choosen through a purposive sampling. Data was collected from a likert-scale science literacy attitude test. The data was analyzed using IBM SPSS Statistics Version 22 and Microsoft Excel.
