This study presents the design and development process of an affordable, 3D-printed planar biaxial testing system that enables highly accurate and precise mate-rial testing of soft tissues. The proposed technological solution incorporates standard features found in many commercial devices, including real-time acquisition of the sample displacement field and automated grip motion, all accessible through a user-friendly graphical interface.
