This article presents data collected using a laboratory testbed by running three http-based adaptive video streaming players on a desktop configured as a mobile node (MN). The experiments were carried out with the MN either running the vanilla version of Locator-Identifier Separation Protocol Mobile Node (LISP-MN) or our improved LISP-MN implementation version, as the mobility protocol. As the ever-moving MN used the three players in turn to stream videos from a web server on the testbed hosting ‘Big Buck Bunny’ video dataset, tcpdump program was used to capture the packet streams, and the dump files were used to analyse the performance of the players.THIS DATASET IS ARCHIVED AT DANS/EASY, BUT NOT ACCESSIBLE HERE.
