Analisis Pengaruh Karakteristik Lattice Parameter Terhadap Nilai Poisson's Ratio Pada Tri-chiral Honeycomb Auxetic Metamaterial Menggunakan Metode Elemen Hingga

Material auxetic adalah contoh material modern yang memiliki beberapa sifat mekanik yang unik dan memiliki keunggulan. Sebagai konsekuensi dari deformasi struktural terhadap struktur internal material tersebut, material auxetic menunjukkan rasio Poisson negatif, yaitu yang memiliki arti volume meningkat ketika diaplikasikan tegangan baik secara longitudinal maupun secara lateral. Efek rasio Poisson negatif berguna dalam banyak aplikasi untuk meningkatkan sifat fisik tertentu seperti kerapatan terhadap struktur, peningkatan terhadap kekakuan, ketangguhan terhadap fraktur, penyerapan energi yang lebih besar, dan peningkatan kemampuan redaman. Sifat-sifat ini dapat disesuaikan dengan mengatur variasi bentuk struktur metamaterial, yang dapat diperoleh salah satunya dengan struktur material chiral auxetic. Pada metamaterial Tri-Chiral Honeycomb Auxetic, bentuk unit sel digambarkan honeycomb dan setiap sudut honeycomb tersebut terdiri dari sebuah node atau lingkaran dengan jari-jari (r) tertentu dan memiliki tiga ligamen dengan panjang (L) sebagai penyambung antar-node, jarak antar-node sendiri sebesar (R). Berdasarkan penelitian terdahulu, nilai rasio Poisson yang variatif dapat diperoleh dengan mengatur perbandingan nilai parameter (L) dan (r) untuk struktur Tri-Chiral Honeycomb, sehingga bisa didapatkan variasi bentuk struktur tertentu yang memiliki pengaruh ke nilai rasio Poissonnya. Pada penelitian ini akan dilakukan simulasi uji tarik secara uniaksial dengan variasi displacement sebesar 200 mm terhadap struktur unit 4×5 hexa Tri-Chiral serta memiliki tebal dalam arah sumbu-z sebesar 50 mm. Tri-Chiral Honeycomb yang telah divariasikan dengan mengatur perbandingan r dan R lalu dilakukan analisis terhadap energi regangan dan nilai rasio Poisson. Sehingga, dari variasi perbandingan r dan R tersebut dapat diketahui pengaruhnya terhadap nilai rasio Poisson dan besar energi regangan pada struktur jika dilakukan simulasi uji tarik uniaksial dalam arah sumbu-y. ================================================================================================================================== Auxetic materials are examples of modern materials that have several unique mechanical properties and have advantages. As a consequence of structural deformation on the internal structure of the material, auxetic materials exhibit a negative Poisson ratio, which means that the volume increases when stress is applied both longitudinally and laterally. The negative Poisson ratio effect is useful in many applications for improving certain physical properties such as density to structure, increased stiffness, fracture toughness, greater energy absorption, and increased damping ability. These properties can be adjusted by adjusting the variations in the shape of the metamaterial structure, which can be obtained one of them with the chiral auxetic material structure. In the Tri-Chiral Honeycomb Auxetic metamaterial, the shape of the unit cell is described as honeycomb and each corner of the honeycomb consists of a node or circle with a certain radius (r) and has three ligaments with a length (L) as a connection between nodes, the distance between them the node itself is as big as (R). Based on previous research, the Poisson's ratio can be obtained by adjusting the comparison of parameter values (L) and (r) for the Tri-Chiral Honeycomb structure, so that variations in the shape of certain structures can be obtained which have an influence on the Poisson ratio value. In this research, a uniaxial tensile test simulation will be carried out with a displacement variation of 200 mm on a 4×5 hexa Tri-Chiral unit structure and has a thickness in the z-direction of 50 mm. The Tri-Chiral Honeycomb that has been varied by adjusting the ratio of r and R is then analyzed for the strain energy and Poisson's ratio values. Thus, from the variation in the ratio of r and R it can be seen the effect on the value of the Poisson ratio and the amount of strain energy in the structure if a uniaxial tensile test is simulated in the ydirection
