Ce projet a porté sur le développement d'instruments médicaux d'enregistrement de l'activité cérébrale électrique et hémodynamique. Il consiste en deux parties principales : La première est un casque développé pour les nouveau-nés prématurés. Il permet de disposer 19 électrodes d'EEG et 300+ canaux de NIRS sur la tête des nouveau-nés prématurés, de façon stable et non traumatisante. La deuxième est une sonde EEG et NIRS capable de faire des enregistrements électriques et hémodynamiques cérébraux sur la tête d'un fœtus in utéro pendant l'accouchement.
