As one of the prominent civilizations of northern Mesopotamia (now Iraq), Assyrian civilization enjoys a distinguished place in terms of the arts of relief and sculpture. The Assyrian art, reflecting the bravery and dauntlessness of its people, has been represented in its reliefs.
