To be a miner in Huancavelica and Potosi : an anthropological approach This paper pretends to bring new views about mining Andean condition and the pertinence of speaking of a mining world as an entity besides regional differences and national histories. It is based on a comparison between two mines : Huancavelica (Peru) and Potosi (Bolivia).
