This paper is a first step in a comparative approach between two recent important theories in economics and specially labor economics, "la théorie des conventions." and "la théorie de la régulation". It compares foundations, concepts and debates. These theories lie on opposite epistemologie a priori and have different aims concerning the standard economic theory: deepening or ding up real alternative. Nevertheless there are some analogies between these approaches.
