Faced with the challenges of climate change and environmental constraints related to fossil fuels, more and more countries have opted for renewable energies (RE), mainly intermittent types such as wind and solar. However, the integration of these energy sources into the grid is not without consequences and poses real challenges. Indeed, some of these energy technologies have no inherent inertia, such as solar photovoltaic, and others cannot effectively contribute to the inertia of the grid due to the power electronics interface through which the energy is injected iin the power system.
