In the quest for alternative fuels to mitigate crises like pollution, global warming, depletion of resources, etc, ammonia has emerged as one of the top contenders amongst other green fuels. The goal of this thesis is to provide experimental data and analyses that are useful both to the industry and the scientific community. This work has been divided into 3 parts to meet the set objectives. The first part is dedicated to providing laminar flame speeds, which is an important sizing parameter, at conditions that are encountered in combustors.
