The work carried out during this study concerns the study and modelling of polymer membrane electrodes indicating potassium ions and ionic surfactants. Ion selective electrodes (ise) represent an important part of the world of chemical sensors. However, these still subject to imperfections whose origin is poorly known. In order to study the mechanism of functioning of ise, and to determine the origin of the deviation from the law of nernst two complementary approaches are envisaged. A thermodynamic study by potentiometric measurements that gives a global answer of the selective electrode and a kinetic study by electrochemical impedance measurements that allows to study more specifically the behaviour of the selective membrane.
