High intensity functional training (HIFT) has been implemented in order to improve physical performance; Its execution in different sports training sessions has optimized the results, being decisive in neuro-muscular strengthening. Branches such as health have implemented this type of training, as a treatment in physical and mental recovery. The objective of this review is to analyze the scientific production on high-intensity functional training in sport and health, to verify its effect on sports performance and physical well-being of people.
