Vinculación universidad y sociedad: experiencias exitosas en entornos comunitarios rurales

The objective of this article was to highlight the experiences of university links with society, with a view to contributing to the strengthening of this tool that demonstrates the relevance of curricula in the academic training of students and the social responsibility of higher education institutions. At the same time, it highlights the validity of the theoretical treaties that in this case have been ascribed to the critical method and Participatory Action Research, which are part of the minimum contents of the curricular meshes and that are transferred to practice, managing to mobilize and empower the intervened communities, making them the protagonist in the identification of dysfunctions and generation of resolutive alternatives for their contexts; These are areas where it has been possible to expose the solvency of quantitative and qualitative methodologies, with techniques of focus groups, dialogue tables, interviews, observation with its variants and censuses. Achievements: a sociodemographic study, seven institutional strategic plans incorporating an average of 560 development alternatives, 30 social projects designed, seven projects executed, four projects for titling. It warns that the bureaucratization of community links should be avoided, rather it should be strengthened by institutionally improving its articulation with teaching and research.El objetivo del presente artículo fue evidenciar las experiencias de la vinculación universitaria con la sociedad, en perspectiva de contribuir al fortalecimiento de esta herramienta que permite demostrar la pertinencia de los currículos en la formación académica de los estudiantes y la responsabilidad social de las instituciones de educación superior. A su vez, se pone de manifiesto la validez de los tratados teóricos que en este caso se han adscrito al método crítico y la Investigación Acción Participativa, que forman parte de los contenidos mínimos de las mallas curriculares y que se trasladan a la práctica, logrando movilizar y empoderar a las comunidades intervenidas, volviéndoles el protagonismo en la identificación de disfuncionalidades y generación de alternativas resolutivas para sus contextos; son ámbitos donde ha sido posible exponer la solvencia de las metodologías cuantitativas y cualitativas, con técnicas de grupos focales, mesas de dialogo, entrevistas, observación con sus variantes y censos. Logros alcanzados: un estudio sociodemográfico, siete planes estratégicos institucionales donde se incorporan una media de 560 alternativas de desarrollo, 30 proyectos sociales diseñados, siete proyectos ejecutados, cuatro proyectos para titulación. Se advierte que debe evitarse la burocratizar la vinculación comunitaria, más bien potenciarla mejorando institucionalmente su articulación con la docencia y la investigación
