Abstract: The Nilüfer Unit of the Karakaya Complex (northern Turkey) preserves the remnants of the voluminous Triassic Tethyan magmatism. In the Imrahor area (Ankara), the Nilüfer Unit is characterized by a megablock consisting of hydrothermally altered basalts, gabbros, and subordinate wehrlitic cumulates.
