Commissioned by the Other Foundation, MayThis report is one of the outputs associated with a programme of work commissioned by The Other Foundation and conducted by the HSRC's Democracy Governance and Service Delivery (DGSD) research programme on sexual orientation and gender identity (SOGI). A module of 32 questions capturing different aspects of sexual orientation and gender identity was developed and fielded as part of the twelfth round of the South African Social Attitudes Survey (SASAS) in the last quarter of 2015.
