By now we have all heard of the Coronavirus which the WHO defines as an infectious disease caused by an infection from the SARS-CoV-2 virus6. The aim of this study was to examine the relationship between health & racial disparities and their effects on the morbidity and mortality rates of African Americans who contracted the virus during the pandemic. We found that there was a relationship between race and various outcomes from the coronavirus. We found that there is a significant relationship between various comorbidities and increased infection rates among African Americans.
