Bestimmung von Pentachlorphenol in Packstoffen mit Hochleistungs-Flüssigkeits-Chromatographie -HPLC-

An extraction procedure and a following analysis by HPLC have been prescribed for the determination of pentachlorphenol (PCP) in paper, cardboard and fibreboard. By means of steam destillation and several sample preparation steps the PCP will be separated from the matrix and is being concentrated at the same time. This procedure is not very time and work efficient and can only be used for the determination of PCP. Analyses of other chlorphenols are not possible with this method. A simple and time efficient analytical procedure has been elaborated in order to complete this method. The use of steam destillation is not necessary any more. The detection of PCP was provided by an electro-chemical detector so that nine chlorphenols could be detected simultaneously by means of one procedure
