The main objective of the CTS"-CGI project, launched by CEC in 1987, was to establish a conformance testing service for implemantations of ISO/IEC 9636, the Computer Graphics Interface (CGI) standard. In support of this objective, the project developed a CGI test system for use by laboratories offering the CGI testing service. This is a technical documentation for the first version of the test system. The CGI test system is based on a test Suite Interpreter (TSI) and a library of tests.
