The propagation of acoustic waves in austenitic weld metal and fiber composites is investigated. The results of the investigation include, for example, the echodynamic curves of standard transducers, and a comparison is made with experimental results. In addition, wavefront images obtained in successive time intervals are given, graphically illustrating the modeling of time-dependent of rf signals
