The deburring with the water jet is a forward-looking manufacturing method. Because of the high flexibility according to the working materials and geometries an economical removal of burs is possible. The flat non-directed treatment does not request much from the tool guiding system. The non-touching treatment with the water jet can be an advantage for complex workpiece geometries or inside contours: costly guiding units, that have to take the geometries of the workpiece into account, are not necessarry, rotating high pressure jets for example facilitate the treatment of inside contours with only one feeding movement.
