The appliance consists of jet generator, jet head, jet catcher and jet guide. A pressure chamber (10) is located behind the jet catcher (4) in spreading direction (6) of the high pressure jet. The chamber is supplied with fluid via a branch line, which is connected to the fluid feed pipe (9) to the jet nozzle (1) for jet generation (3). The pressure chamber is sized to enclose an angle, which is formed when the jet drifts off its spreading direction. The size of the angle is limited by the fact, that the residual energy in the jet is reduced so far by drifting of the jet, to prevent any damage to the environment.
