This report presents the energy- and material flow data for the production of packaging materials for food packagings. In the introductory part of this report general notes are made on the establishment of system boundaries, the documentation of process contents and on the characterization of data. As data were taken from different sources, it was important to create a standardized data format. This format is described in its general structure. In the second part the process structures and the system boundaries as well as the data sources concerning the production of packaging materials are characterized.
