In the twentieth century States have made particular use of the ideology of nationalism to legitimize their power. This ideology uses a polysémie lexicon with affective connotations and carries with it varied and changing significations of inclusion and precise and definite values of exclusion and negation. It is used to construct a myth. This study attempts to verify the existence of these properties in the lexicon of Quebec nationalism.
