Abstract In southern Baronnies (French Alps) four sites, representatives of différent types of rocks have been chosen, and on all of them, we study dynamics of vegetation, in relation with hydric erosion. We follow : 1) the evolution of the moor (Genista hispanica, Genista cinerea) bordering the top of bad-lands, (50 to 150 points by station, at the same dates of erosion measurement, from 1990 to 1993, and once a year since this date); 2) the evolution of graminean tufs (Calamagrostis argentea), on the slopes, with pictures once a year since 1990.
