Les remblaiements de fond de vallons : l'exemple du Royeau dans le bassin de la Sarthe, à l'ouest du Bassin Parisien (France)/Accretion deposits in vale bottoms: the case of the Royeau in the Sarthe Basin, West of the Paris Basin (France)

Abstract Recent drilling makes it possible to analyse the accretion deposits of the bottom of the Royeau dale, located to the north-east of Le Mans, in order to reconstruct the sedimentary palaeoenvironments. Controlled by the slope dynamics, the sedimentation demonstrates the importance of accumulation in the Subatlantic period. Dated by several layers rich in organic matter, three main phases of active morphogenesis have been caused by the addition of the human degradation of the vegetable cover, well recorded in pollinic diagrams, and of slight climatic pejoration periods : coarse accumulations correspond to the Iron Age, the early Middle Ages and the late Little Ice Age. Drastic transformations of rural landscapes and of farming methods from the nineteen sixties caused a new erosive crisis better marked on slopes than along the talweg axis.Résumé Des sondages récents permettent d'analyser les dépôts du remblaiement de fond du vallon de Royeau, situé au nord-est du Mans, afin de reconstituer les paléoenvironnements contemporains de la sédimentation. Contrôlée par la morphodynamique des versants, cette dernière révèle l'importance de l'accumulation au Subatlantique. Datées par plusieurs horizons riches en matière organique, trois principales phases de morphogenèse active sont déclenchées par la conjonction probable de la dégradation du couvert végétal par l'homme, bien enregistrée dans les diagrammes polliniques, et de périodes de légère péjoration climatique : les accumulations grossières correspondent à l'Age du Fer, au Moyen Age et au Petit Age Glaciaire. Les transformations rapides des paysages ruraux et des pratiques culturales depuis les années 1960 provoquent une nouvelle crise érosive mieux marquée sur les versants que dans l'axe des talwegs.Larue Jean-Pierre, Leroyer Chantal, Mahoué Jean-Pierre.
