Abstract Informations about hydrological processes, derived from the analysis of a well instrumented watershed in rain and flood measurements, are compared taking into account three spatial scales. Most of the examples analysed in this paper come from the cases studied in the frame of the « Real Collobrier Scientific Groupement ». At a global scale, two types of hydrologie measurements are available : those which characterize the proportion of flood, as the runoff coefficient or the volumes of rain which are absorbed by the watershed before the first increase of flood ; those which describe the « transfert », as the parameters of the transfert function, or the time lag or the recession coefficients of floods.
