The aim of the present work is to work out a technical application of the PCA process and to find prerequisites for future scale-ups. Experiments were carried out to study the influence of the process conditions on the micronization of different solids as ascorbic acid, acetylsalicylic acid, urea and chloramphenicol. Further studies were made on microcomposites to check the suitability of the PCA process for complex applications
